Man Seriously Hurt After Being Struck By Car In NH Hit And Run

KINGSTON, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire state police say a man was seriously injured when a car drove off the roadway and struck him as he stood in Kingston parking lot.

Authorities say they are investigating why a car driven by 64-year-old Leon Abbott of Chester left Route 107-A and entered the parking lot of BCR Auto Body, striking 37-year-old Chad Sullivan of Epping. They say Sullivan was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Police say Abbott suffered no injuries.

The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit and Kingston police are investigating the accident.
