King Tides Cause Flooding, Close I-93NB Exit

BOSTON (CBS) -- Some of the highest tides of the year were causing flooding and road closures along the coast Tuesday afternoon.

Massachusetts State Police said that the King Tides, as they are known, caused the flooding of Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester's Savin Hill area, and the closure of the I-93 North exit ramp to Morrissey Boulevard.

One Twitter user posted a video of high tides in Seabrook:

Flooding was also taking place in Gloucester Tuesday afternoon.

The high tides are expected to continue through Wednesday.
