Keller @ Large: State Sen. Tom McGee On T Reforms

BOSTON (CBS) -- The co-chair of the Legislature's committee on transportation appeared on Keller @ Large Sunday morning to talk about Gov. Charlie Baker's proposed MBTA reforms.

Lawmakers have pushed back against some of Baker's overhaul ideas, including a suspension of the Pacheco law, which concerns privatization of services.

"If you look at the facts of what's been done in the past. . . it has worked," Sen. Tom McGee told WBZ-TV political analyst Jon Keller.

McGee also has concerns about Baker's proposed fiscal control board and "allowing this unelected board to raise fares."
