Keller @ Large: Rev. Eugene Rivers On Community Policing

BOSTON (CBS) -- Last week, WBZ-TV political analyst Jon Keller spoke with Boston Police Commissioner William Evans about issues of community policing and police brutality.

This week, Keller's guest is Rev. Eugene Rivers, a longtime community activist with a different perspective on those issues.

Rivers said Boston has one of the best police departments in the United States, and others could learn from the department's example of building relationships with black clergy.

"Boston's the only city where there is a task force consisting of police, community members and clergy that meets every week for an hour," Rivers said.
