Keller @ Large: Legislature Not To Blame For T Woes, Speaker Says
BOSTON (CBS) -- House Speaker Robert DeLeo joined WBZ-TV political analyst Jon Keller on Keller @ Large Sunday morning to discuss the MBTA's winter woes.
Some blame politicians for underfunding the MBTA in recent years, but DeLeo says that's not the case.
"I strongly reject that charge, that's always the call in respect to problems at the T," he said. "We've had transportation bond bills, both of which have provided extensive additional amounts of money to the T.
DeLeo said he's been meeting with legislative leaders and Gov. Charlie Baker to find a solution to the transportation problems.
