Keller @ Large: Can DCF Be Fixed?

BOSTON (CBS) -- After another week of negative headlines for the Department of Children and Families, WBZ political analyst Jon Keller asks state Auditor Suzanne Bump what can be done to fix chronic problems at the troubled agency.

Bump says one major issue is that DCF social workers say that they communicate better with schools, courts and law enforcement than sister agencies in the executive branch.

"All of those agencies should be willing partners with DCF," Bump said. "They just aren't making those connections."

Bump and Keller also talked about the Democratic "love-fest" for Gov. Charlie Baker, and she highlighted some areas where she disagrees with the governor.

You can listen to Keller At Large on WBZ News Radio every weekday at 7:55 a.m. You can also watch Jon on WBZ-TV News.
