Karyn Polito Acting Governor For A Day While Charlie Baker's Out Of Town
BOSTON (CBS) - Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is in Nashville, Tennessee Wednesday for a meeting of the Republican Governors' Association.
That means Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito will be "acting governor" for the day. She's scheduled to lead a news conference at the Worcester Regional Airport at 12:30 p.m. for an announcement with JetBlue President and COO Joanna Geraghty.
The governor's office said Baker and First Lady Lauren Baker will return to Massachusetts Wednesday evening.
