Justin Bieber To Fans: Don't Ask For A Selfie With Me

BOSTON (CBS) -- Bieber fever struck Boston Tuesday night as the superstar played to a packed crowd at the TD Garden.

But Justin Bieber's social media post before the show has some fans pretty bummed out.

The bottom line? If you're a Bieber fan, don't expect him to take a selfie with you.

"If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I'm not gonna take a picture I'm done taking pictures," Bieber wrote on Instagram. "It has gotten to the point that people won't even say hi to me or recognize me as a human, I feel like a zoo animal."

One young fan outside the Boston concert said she felt sorry for the singer.

"People are so disrespectful," said Haley Hutchinson, of West Bridgewater. "They don't even treat him like he's a human anymore, and it breaks my heart."

Bieber's message comes right after he was spotted walking barefoot through the streets of Boston.

Not all fans agree. One commented on Instagram, "I can kinda understand where he's coming from but also you can't just shut your fans out like that."
