50 years after Judith Cadorette was found dead, police still searching for answers

TEWKSBURY - It's been 50 years since Judith Cadorette was found murdered and police are hoping the anniversary will generate some new leads in the cold case.

Cadorette was 19 years old when she was found dead in the woods off the ramp from I-93 south to Route 133 in Andover on July 6, 1973. The road leads directly to Tewksbury where Cadorette was from.

She was last seen four days earlier on July 2 at the Holiday Inn near Routes 38 and 495 in Tewksbury.

Massachusetts State Police said Cadorette had long dark hair and "poor eyesight."

"She frequented the 495 drive-in movie theatre, Holiday Inn lounge, and Pewter Pot restaurant in Tewksbury," police said on Facebook.
