Jones: Are The Bruins Stuck With Claude Julien?

BOSTON (CBS) - A changing of the guard is taking place with the Bruins.

Charlie Jacobs, the son of owner Jeremy Jacobs, was named CEO back in January. General manager Peter Chiarelli was also fired at season's end, and the chance of bringing back the same group of players is looking slim.

Chiarelli's replacement, former B's defenseman Don Sweeney, was an in-house hire for Boston, and one of his first orders of business will be deciding what to do with head coach Claude Julien.

However, as 98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones notes, he may be left with no choice at all.

At Sweeney's introductory press conference he would only say that Julien is his guy "as of today," which seemed to indicate a lack of confidence in Julien, or at the very least some level of uncertainty into his job status.

With San Jose hiring Pete DeBoer and Buffalo bringing in Dan Byslma, the list of potential coaching candidates on the market does not look good.

Adam Jones and Rich Keefe discuss whether the Bruins' best option at this point is to just give Claude Julien another shot.
