Jonas Gray Skips Out On Toucher & Rich Interview
BOSTON (CBS) -- Following his 200-yard, four touchdown performance against the Indianapolis Colts in November, Jonas Gray quickly found himself in Bill Belichick's dog house for being late to practice the following week.
Gray hit the snooze button one too many times following his big game, and was essentially benched because of it.
It looks like he had similar issues on Thursday, though a radio appearance isn't nearly as important as a mid-season practice for an undrafted player trying to hold onto his spot on the roster.
The Patriots running back was supposed to join 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich on Thursday morning to promote his upcoming comedy show this weekend, but was tardy to that party. He did not end up joining the show.
The irony of Jonas Gray being late for our interview is not lost on us.

But that wasn't the only issue Gray had over the Boston airwaves on Thursday. His interview on WZLX's Karlson and McKenzie was abruptly cut short after just a few minutes after a line of questioning about him not playing in the Super Bowl.
Jonas Gray ditched @Toucherandrich then hung up on @KarlsonMcKenzie so chances he calls us later this morning? Zero Point Zero.

We managed to do something no other radio show in Boston could do, an entertaining interview w/Jonas Gray. We'll air it tomorrow.

Late in the 9am hour, Gray's agent called Toucher & Rich to defend his client about the misunderstanding:
Gray is scheduled to host a comedy show at the Kowloon in Saugus on Saturday night.
