Johnny Pesky's Number 6 Vandalized Outside Fenway Park

BOSTON (CBS) - Someone spray painted graffiti on Johnny Pesky's number 6 outside Fenway Park.

The paint was found at the top of the number Wednesday.

"It's unfortunate that it happened, but graffiti isn't uncommon in the area, and we will clean this up as soon as possible," team spokesman Kevin Gregg told WBZ-TV in an email Thursday.

There have been no arrests, but Boston police are looking into the vandalism.
