Matt Beleskey Chides Jimmy Vesey's 'Bad Decision'

BOSTON (CBS) – Hockey fans in New England were upset Friday when coveted prospect Jimmy Vesey chose to sign with the New York Rangers instead of his hometown Bruins.

Apparently Bruins fans weren't the only ones not pleased with the decision.

Bruins forward Matt Beleskey sent Vesey a tweet late Friday night after the former Harvard standout made his selection.

Beleskey's tweet got plenty of traction on social media, with a large number of responses from Rangers fans.

Despite plenty of negative feedback from New York, Beleskey had some Twitter fun, retweeting some of the more colorful responses.

The Rangers and Bruins will take the fight to the ice October 26 at Madison Square Garden and November 5 at TD Garden.

"I have enjoyed everyone's fun tonight," Beleskey tweeted before logging off. "I'm glad your night has involved me. Can't wait to play @TheGarden next year love you BOSTON!!"
