Sources: Jimmy Garoppolo Expected To Start Versus Bills

BOSTON (CBS) – Next week the Patriots will get Tom Brady back at quarterback as his DeflateGate suspension comes to an end. But first, as New England hopes to improve to 4-0 on the season, they'll reportedly be getting help behind center from Jimmy Garoppolo.

Sources told WBZ-TV's Levan Reid on Saturday that the Patriots expect Garoppolo to start Sunday against the Buffalo Bills after missing last Thursday's game against the Houston Texans with a shoulder injury.

Garoppolo was injured in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins.

Prior to exiting the game, he threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.

Despite Garoppolo's absence, the Patriots dispatched the Texans on Thursday Night Football with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback to improve to 3-0.

Brissett suffered a thumb injury in the game, but is expected to be available on Sunday if needed.

Both Garoppolo and Brissett are both officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report.
