Jarome Iginla, Kevan Miller Out For Bruins Against Wild

BOSTON (CBS) -- Jarome Iginla will once again not be in uniform when the Bruins suit up on Tuesday night.

The veteran forward skated, along with Kevan Miller, prior to the Bruins' morning skate in Minnesota on Tuesday, and neither player will be returning to the lineup against the Wild.

Iginla, 36, has missed two of the last three Bruins' game due to what the team has deemed a lower-body injury. Miller sat out of Saturday's game with an undisclosed ailment.

Claude Julien said Monday that the injuries are minor and that if this were the playoffs, both players would be playing.

NESN play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards tweeted that both players were skating hard in their session with assistant coach Doug Jarvis.

Iginla had been on a hot streak prior to being sidelined by his lower-body issue, as he was named the NHL's first star for the month of March. In his 17 games in that period, he scored 13 goals, including five game-winners, and assisted on four more.

Miller, 26, has established himself as a key blue liner for Boston in his rookie season, as he's averaged more than 17 minutes of ice time in his 44 games played. He has a goal and five assists to go with a plus-19 rating.
