It Appears Michael Irvin Will Actually Change His Lombardi Trophies To Belichick Trophies

BOSTON (CBS) -- People make promises all the time, and oftentimes those promises are not kept. But on the internet, it's infinitely harder to break a promise and get away with it.
NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin vowed on Wednesday that if the Patriots were to beat the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football, he would take his three Lombardi Trophies that he won with the Dallas Cowboys in the '90s and rename them to "Belichick Trophies," literally removing the Lombardi name from the trophy and adding the name of the Patriots head coach.
If @Patriots beat @HoustonTexans on @NFLTNF w the 3rd QB. I will take off Lombardi & call these The Belichick Trophy???? pic.twitter.com/JX4mCamY8Q

Lo and behold, the Patriots not only won Thursday night but thoroughly, severely dismantled the Texans in all three phases of the game - and certainly on the sidelines. So now, it's time for Irvin to get to engravin'.
Looks like he's already found his guy.
Meet me at my home buddy & let's get 2 work on those Belichick trophies. WOW❤️⭐️????????@Patriots @HoustonTexans @NFLTNF https://t.co/93tYcRpCEH

Since this is officially a thing now, it's the internet's job to keep on Mr. Irvin and make sure he actually goes through with it. Can't just make a bold promise like that then not keep it when you get proven utterly wrong. The internet is doing its job, it's time for Irvin to do his.
