Rollover Crash Closes Part Of I-95 During Morning Commute

BOXFORD (CBS) – One lane of Interstate 95 was closed during the morning commute on Thursday after a van rolled over near the Boxford-Topsfield line.

Around 7 a.m. near Exit 51, the van was travelling north when it swerved to avoid another car that had swerved due to icy on the road, State Police said. It came to a stop on the median, landing on its roof.

State Police said there were eight men inside the van at the time. One of the passengers was flown to a Boston hospital with serious injuries. The other passengers and driver were also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
