1 Dead In Crash Into Woods Off I-495 In Franklin

FRANKLIN (CBS) – A driver was killed in an early morning crash on Interstate 495 in Franklin.

A Ford F-150 pickup went off the road and into the woods near exit 17 on the northbound side of the highway around 6 a.m.

State Police said the driver was the only person in the vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not been released.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.

This is the second fatal crash on I-495 in the last two days.  Two people were killed early Wednesday when a driver apparently went the wrong way and collided with another car in Mansfield.
