Injury Report: Wendell Out For Patriots; McCoy Questionable For Bills

BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots will have to rely on a young offensive line once again Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

New England offensive lineman Ryan Wendell is out for Sunday's game after missing this week of practice with a mysterious illness. That means rookie David Andrews will likely be at center again with Josh Kline at right guard and rookies Tre Jackson and Shaq Mason splitting time at left guard, and veterans Nate Solder and Sebastian Vollmer at their respective tackle positions.

Defensive lineman Dominique Easley, battling a hip injury he suffered in Week 1's win over the Steelers, returned to the practice field on Friday, but is listed as doubtful for Sunday.

While there was good news on the defensive front, there was some bad news over on the offensive line.

Also appearing on the injury report for New England was running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring), defensive lineman Trey Flowers (knee) and safety Tavon Wilson (quad), who were all full participants on Friday and are listed as probable for Sunday.

Bills running back LeSean McCoy, who left Thursday's practice early with hamstring tightness, was limited on Friday and listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Bills head coach Rex Ryan said he remains "cautiously optimistic" that he'll have his starting running back against the Patriots.

Buffalo ruled wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (ribs) and linebacker Tony Steward (knee) out for Sunday's game, while receiver Percy Harvin (hip) and safety Corey Graham (concussion) are both listed as probable.
