Injured Barred Owl Returned To Wild In Framingham

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) -- Animal rescuers released an injured owl back into the wild this week after a more than month-long recovery.

The barred owl was found hurt at the Cameron Middle School in Framingham on Oct. 21 and rescued by local animal control officers. It was transported to Tuft's Wildlife Clinic, where it recuperated.

Rescuers returned the owl to its environment earlier this week, according to Framingham police.
