Improved Economy Could Mean Big Year For Real Estate Market

BOSTON (CBS) – It's a new year, and one real estate expert believes that 2015 could be big one on the housing market.

Anthony Lamacchia of McGeough Lamacchia Realty said he believes the new year will feature the best home sale figures in 10 years.

Lamacchia said the improving economy and jobs reports will impact the number of home buyers, as will interest rates that are significantly lower entering 2015.

"It enables more people to buy, and people to buy more," Lamacchia told WBZ-TV's Kathryn Hauser.
