BOSTON (CBS) -- Light snow and freezing drizzle brought slippery travel to eastern Massachusetts for Thursday morning's commute.

Massachusetts State Police said icy road conditions on Route 25 in Wareham, Interstate 495 and Route 195 were causing spin-outs. The Route 28 ramp from Route 195 east to Exit 21 in Wareham was closed after multiple cars went off the road "due to the ramp being completely covered by ice," police said.

The ramp was reopened at about 7 a.m.

There was also a serious three-car crash on Revere Beach Parkway that injured three people before 5 a.m., but it was not clear if the incident was weather-related.
