Husband Accused Of Killing Wife In Rockland

ROCKLAND (CBS) – A woman was stabbed to death in Rockland Wednesday night and her husband has been arrested and charged with murder.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rockland Police responded to Moncrief Road where they found 52-year-old Patricia Langley lying in the driveway suffering from apparent stab wounds. Neighbors were attending to her when police arrived. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim's husband, 56-year-old Richard Langley, was arrested at the scene and charged with murder. He will be arraigned Thursday in Hingham District Court.

The death is being investigated by State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office and the Rockland Police.
