Humpback Whale Freed From Entanglement In Cape Cod Bay

CAPE COD (CBS) -- A young humpback whale was freed from a complex entanglement line Saturday afternoon in Cape Cod Bay.

On their Facebook page, the Center for Coastal Studies' says their marine animal entanglement response team disentangled the whale after it was reported to the US Coast Guard by recreational boaters off Wood End in Provincetown.

The Coast Guard and Dolphin Fleet helped out with the response.
