Don't Forget The E-Brake: Truck Rolls Into Hopkinton Lake

HOPKINTON (CBS) – A boater in Hopkinton forgot to do one very important thing on Thursday.

Hopkinton police posted a photo of a submerged pickup truck in the Whitehall Reservoir with the caption "Always set your emergency brake."

There were no injuries reported in the incident. Crews were working to get the boat out of the water on Thursday afternoon.

In a similar mishap in Quincy earlier in the day, an unoccupied vehicle rolled down a driveway and into Quincy Bay. No one was hurt there, either.
