Clinton Planning Boston Fundraiser With Jon Bon Jovi

BOSTON (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is planning a fundraiser in Boston with rocker Jon Bon Jovi.

The Clinton campaign says the doors to what it's calling a summer celebration will open at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m., and will include a special performance by the musician.

Tickets range from $45 to $2,700, although the candidate's campaign website says the $45 tickets are sold out.

Massachusetts is typically a reliably Democratic state during presidential elections. The state last skewed Republican in 1984, when it voted to re-elect Ronald Reagan.

Massachusetts is also a popular fundraising state for candidates for both parties eager to tap into a wealth of deep-pocketed support.

The event will take place at the Westin Waterfront hotel in the city's Seaport District.
