Hillary, Chelsea Clinton Target Trump Ahead Of Election Day
KEENE, N.H. (CBS) -- Stumping in New Hampshire was a family affair for Hillary Clinton on Friday.
Chelsea Clinton spoke with supporters at Keene State and Dartmouth College, and President Obama will be in town on Monday.
In the mean time, Hillary Clinton set up camp on Friday in the rust belt, with stops in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio.
"Are we going to build a strong, fairer, better America, or are we going to fear each other and the future?" Clinton said.
Polls show her ahead of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania and Michigan, but effectively tied in Ohio. She knows her closing argument has to appeal to working class voters.
"I want people to say, 'Hey, I saw where you wanted to do more on infrastructure. How's that going? How many new jobs do we have? What kind of opportunities do we have with clean, renewable energy jobs? What about raising the national minimum wage?'" Clinton said.
Clinton is also making her case directly to women.
"Here it is, 2016," she said. "Don't you think it's finally time to guarantee equal pay for women?"
And she took aim at Trump, who she says has never stood up for workers.
"The steelworkers sure know -- he chose to build two of his buildings with Chinese steel and aluminum instead of support of America's steel industry and American steel workers."
A new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Hillary Clinton up five points in New Hampshire, but three polls on Thursday show the race tied.
