High School Football Teams Take Rivalries To Fenway Park

BOSTON (CBS) - Eight Massachusetts high school football teams are taking their annual Thanksgiving Day rivalries to Fenway Park. One major match-up, St. John's Prep versus Xaverian, didn't wait until Thursday.

One student says, "it's just great, a great experience."

But this experience is unlike any before and the players still can't believe it.

Colleen Fallon says, "This is really an incredible night it's just a lot of fun it's different it's exciting."

Fallon is watching her son Sean in a way she never thought she would. And this is the first time high school football has been at Fenway in more than 80 years, and people here hope the tradition will continue.

One student says, "It's cool coming to Fenway, I like it better here."

There are a total of four high school games at Fenway.
