Haverhill Police Officer On Administrative Leave After Being Charged With OUI

HAVERHILL (CBS) -- A Haverhill police officer pleaded not guilty to a drunk driving charge. Carlos Arriaga appeared in court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors said on Sunday, Arriaga crashed into a parked car on Essex Street while he was off-duty.

Both he and the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries. Both cars were damaged as well.

Arriaga was placed on administrative leave.
