The college said that the Science Center and Sever, Emerson and Thayer Halls were evacuated and access to the Yard was restricted. All four buildings were searched and nothing was found to substantiate the emailed threat.

It was one of several bomb threats received in the region Monday. Bomb threats also forced evacuations at Fitchburg State University earlier in the day and canceled morning classes at Cape Cod Community College.

Police have not confirmed if the bomb threats are linked.
