Hanley Ramirez Makes Return To Red Sox Lineup After Shoulder Injury

TORONTO (CBS) – The struggling Red Sox lineup welcomes back a familiar face on Saturday in Toronto.

Hanley Ramirez returns to the Boston lineup as the Red Sox take on the Blue Jays beginning at 1:07 p.m.

Ramirez missed multiple games after slamming into the left field wall trying to make a catch on Monday.

The Red Sox were shut out Friday night in a 7-0 loss in Toronto.

Boston now finds itself with a 13-16 record, 5.5 games behind the first place Yankees.

Also noteworthy in advance of Saturday's game was a move bringing pitcher Matt Barnes to the major leagues.

Barnes was called up from Triple-A Pawtucket to take the place of Travis Shaw, who started Friday in the absence of a suspended David Ortiz.
