Guns, Tasers Shown During Alleged Mission Hill Robberies

ROXBURY (CBS) – Boston police are warning residents after two reported armed robberies early Saturday morning in the Mission Hill area of Roxbury.

Police said in a community alert that four black men, believed to be in their early 20s, showed guns and tasers during alleged robberies on Parker Hill Ave. in the area of McLaughlin Playground.

Just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday police received their first call for an armed robbery when a person told officers he was walking with his two friends when they were approached by the suspects.

Police said the suspects demanded the victims give their personal property to the suspects, which the victims said they did.

Just minutes later, police received a call from another group who said they were also confronted by the men.

The group of men allegedly made off with property belonging to the second group of callers.

Police describe the suspects as all about 5'11" tall, two who were wearing grey sweatshirts and two who wore black sweatshirts.
