Gresh & Zo: Is Danny Ainge Sticking It To Pat Riley By Helping Cleveland?

Boston (CBS) - You may remember a year ago when Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge criticized LeBron James for complaining about hard fouls in a game against the Bulls.

The comment needled Heat president Pat Riley, and prompted him to state, "Danny Ainge needs to shut the f*** up and manage his own team. He was the biggest whiner when he was playing, and I know that because I coached against him."

Well Ainge might be trying to needle Riley again. And this time, he may be taking away the player Riley was trying to protect.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a three-team trade that sees Boston get another first-round pick and frees up enough cap space for the Cavs to make a run at free agent LeBron James.

The move was a no-brainer for the Celtics, who now have three first-round draft picks in 2016, but hosts Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak of 98.5 The Sports Hub's Gresh and Zo show raised the question: Is Ainge sticking it Pat Riley?
