Grandmother, Grandson Killed In Quincy Fire

QUINCY (CBS/AP) — Authorities have identified a grandmother and her grandson killed when an early morning fire swept through a home in Quincy over the weekend.

The Norfolk district attorney's office says 67-year-old Thelma Powers and 19-year-old William Powers were killed in the fire early Sunday morning on Bell Street.

Officials say William's father, Michael Powers, jumped from a window.  He was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for him and his family.

Authorities haven't determined whether the home had functioning smoke alarms.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
