Young Girl Dies After Falling From Window In Brookline

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- A five-year-old girl has died after she fell out of a fourth-story window, police confirm.

She was transported to Children's Hospital with serious injuries Monday afternoon.

Police said they responded to the 911 call from 1371 Beacon Street in Brookline around 3:30.

Officials also said the girl lives in the apartment complex but was playing with friends in a different unit at the time. There were adults present in the apartment at the time.
