E. Coli Outbreak Linked To Recalled General Mills Flour Sickens 2 In Mass.

BOSTON (CBS) -- The E. coli outbreak linked to recently recalled General Mills flour has reached Massachusetts.

The CDC says two Bay State residents are among the 38 who have fallen ill nationwide.

So far, Massachusetts is the only New England state affected by the outbreak.

On Tuesday, General Mills recalled a variety of Gold Medal Flour, Gold Medal Wondra Flour and Signature Kitchens Flour because of possible E. coli contamination.

The CDC says the flour should not be eaten or sold.
