Gas prices drop 6 cents in Massachusetts, stay below national average

BOSTON - Gas prices in Massachusetts dropped six cents in the last week, according to AAA.

The average price on Monday was $3.29 for a gallon, down from $3.35 seven days ago.

Massachusetts is still seven cents below the national average of $3.37 a gallon.

Hawaii has the highest average in the nation at $4.86 a gallon.
