'Game Of Thrones' Heroin Leads To Overdose, Arrests

LEBANON, N.H. (CBS) – Officers in New Hampshire arrested two men on drug charges after a man nearly died when he overdosed on a highly potent batch of heroin labeled "Game of Thrones."

Friday night around 10 p.m. a 32-year-old man was revived by CPR and the administration of nasal narcan after he overdosed on heroin.

Police say the heroin was supplied by Brock Richardson. He was arrested on several drug distribution charges.

Richardson was held on $20,000 cash bail and will be arraigned Monday morning.

Dumont-Willey was charged with possession of heroin and held on $5,000 bail.

Lebanon Police said the heroin was stamped "Game of Thrones" and it appears to be highly potent.

"Although all heroin should be considered potentially lethal, this particular batch led to an overdose and near death and people should be cautioned accordingly," Lebanon Police said.
