Funeral Services Announced For Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter

BROCKTON (CBS) – Funeral services have been announced for Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter.
On Wednesday, the three-term mayor died suddenly after dropping off his grandson at a summer program.

The mayor will lie in state in the City Hall rotunda from noon-6 p.m. Thursday and funeral services will be Friday.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the 62-year-old had a history of heart issues.
