Funeral Arrangements For Former Boston Mayor Tom Menino Announced

BOSTON (CBS) – Funeral arrangements for former Boston Mayor Tom Menino have been announced.

Menino will lie in state Sunday, November 2 starting at 10 a.m. at Faneuil Hall.

His funeral will be at 12 p.m. Monday at Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park. The funeral will be a private event.

A mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross at 1400 Washington St in Boston will be held for the public to honor Menino on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Menino, Boston's longest serving mayor, died Thursday after a long battle with cancer. He was 71 years old.
