Funeral Arrangements Announced For Plymouth Police Officer Killed In Motorcycle Crash

PLYMOUTH (CBS) - Officials have released details for the funeral arrangements of Plymouth police officer Greggory Maloney.

Maloney, 43, was killed in a motorcycle crash while on duty April 1.

His wake will be held Monday, April 7 at Memorial Hall, 83 Court St., Plymouth.

The public is invited to pay respects following a 3 p.m. walk-through by police officers. The wake goes until 8 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court St., Plymouth.

A procession will following the Funeral Mass. It will proceed from St. Peter's Church along Court Street to Summer Street and up to Vinehills Cemetery, where Officer Maloney will be laid to rest.

The Plymouth Police Department will march in this procession, which will also include motorcycles from the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council Mobile Operations Unit.

A portion of Court Street will be closed to vehicles for parts of Monday and Tuesday.

Public parking for those attending Officer Maloney's wake and funeral will be available in the lots behind Memorial Hall and St. Peter's Church, and also in the public lots adjacent to the East Bay Grill, 173 Water St.
