Framingham Police Capture Escaped Prisoner

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) – A detainee who fled Framingham District Court was captured Friday evening.

Police say 28-year-old Christian James Horne had appeared before a judge and fled custody while he was being escorted from the courthouse at about 4:30 p.m.

Horne, who was facing charges for domestic assault and battery, was arrested not far from the courthouse about 90 minutes later.

He has been returned to the Middlesex jail and will face a new escape charge.

The Middlesex Sheriff's Office, State Police and Framingham Police Department all assisted in the search and arrest.
