Arrests made after two teens shot at Framingham McDonald's drive-thru

Arrest made in connection with McDonald's shooting in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Two teenagers were taken to the hospital overnight after a shooting at the McDonald's drive-thru in Framingham. It happened early Thursday morning at the fast food restaurant off Route 30.

Hours later, police determined the victims shot each other and they were both arrested. 

Moises Bautista, 19, of Ashland, suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. He was arraigned Friday for assault and battery with a firearm, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building. 

Tiago Xavier, 18, of Framingham, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest. He will be arraigned Monday on charges of assault and battery with a firearm, possession of firearm while committing a felony, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building. 

One car was towed from the scene and another from an area hospital.

Police said the young men know each other and there is no threat to the public at this time.
