SHARON (CBS) – A recent college graduate was killed in an early-morning crash on Interstate 95 in Sharon on Friday, which was her birthday.

It happened around 3 a.m. on I-95 South near Mechanic Street.

Massachusetts State Police said 22-year-old Stephanie Boaventura of Milford drove onto the median for unknown reasons. When she attempted to reenter the road, her 2010 Toyota Corolla slammed into the guardrail.

Family members say Friday was Boaventura's 22nd birthday. She had been out celebrating with friends, her aunt said.
