Firefighters In Full Gear Play Dodgeball For Training Exercise

DOUGLAS (CBS) -- Is there a more fun way for firefighters to practice life-saving skills?

On Wednesday, the Douglas Fire Department had its firefighters play a game of dodgeball in full gear while using self-contained breathing apparatuses.

"A little dodgeball training tonight to help conserve air," the department tweeted. "Nice job troops!"

It was also a good opportunity to familiarize firefighters with the new elementary school, the department said.

Watch video of the game on the department's Facebook page.
