Plumes Of Smoke, Flames Seen Coming From Massive Fire In Somerville

SOMERVILLE (CBS) -- A massive four-alarm fire in Somerville destroyed one home and damaged two others on Saturday. It happened on Morrison Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The blaze required crews from neighboring communities to help Somerville firefighters. The Malden Fire Department tweeted they are assisting, as well as the Cambridge Fire Department.

Plumes of smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious.
