'Crab Army' Marches On Wareham Beach

WAREHAM (CBS) – Everyone wants to get to the beach on this hot summer week, and these crabs are no exception.

The Wareham Department of Natural Resources shared a video on Facebook Wednesday of a "crab army" marching on an estuary at Little Harbor Beach.

There appears to be hundreds of tiny fiddler crabs swarming the sand and climbing over one another.

Fiddler crabs are known to inhabit tidal marshes and the males are recognizable for their oversized claw.
