Felger & Mazz: February 6, 2014

Felger and Massarotti opened the day discussing the Boston Celtics and an update on "Tankapalooza." The Celtics have won their last two games improving their record 17-33, which gives them the 6th worst record in the NBA. Will the amount of NBA teams that are tanking force the league to do away with the lottery system?

 

In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continue to talk about the tanking epidemic in the NBA. Should the NBA overhaul their lottery system? Do the Celtics have to move Rajon Rondo by the trade deadline? The guys went on to discuss the New England Patriots and the salary cap. How will the salary cap affect the Pats off-season spending?

 

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guy continue to talk about the Patriots off-season spending. Boston Bruins President Cam Neely joined Mike and Tony to talk some B's and the upcoming 2104 Winter Olympic break. Even though the opening ceremonies aren't until tomorrow night, the 2014 Winter Olympics began today. Mike and Tony continue to talk about the scene out in Sochi, Russia.

 

In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz get into the Boston Red Sox off-season. Have the Red Sox become complacent? Also, why would David Ortiz go public with his request for a contract extension? Finally, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
