FBI agents search Newton home
NEWTON – FBI agents searched a home in Newton Wednesday.
Agents were seen sifting through trash at the house on Fairfield Street and bringing out bags and boxes from inside.
Neighbors said the couple who live in the home are medical professionals who are quiet and keep to themselves and their adult son lives with them.
The FBI did not say what the search was related to, but said it was "conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity."
Neighbors told WBZ-TV they were perplexed as to what could have led to the search.
"This is a great neighborhood and with the school right here, and school starting next week, it's just unnerving to see so much activity without knowing what's going on," neighbor Lana Borenstein said.
