Fatal Shooting Investigated In Methuen

METHUEN (CBS) -- Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds at a home in Methuen Monday morning.

Neighbors told police that they heard gunshots in the middle of the night, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office.

A man with several gunshot wounds was found inside 5 Phillips St.

Methuen police said the homicide was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
